Visit England Accessibility updates for product listings
Visit England have created a short questionnaire to capture mandatory information about the Accessible features of each business listing on Experience Sussex. Once the forms is complete for your business(s), our website developer, Simpleview, will make the changes to your listing(s) based on your completed form. This update will be made on Experience Sussex only, so you may also need to update your listings on other destination websites.
To be included in this important website update, you must complete the questionnaire by Friday 20 June. We've shared some supporting information and resources below, as well as the specific questionnaire links for each listing type.
Completing the questionnaire
The questionnaire should only take 10 minutes to complete. There is a separate form for each of the product types with different Accessible features for each category, so please ensure you select the category most relevant to your listing below. If you have multiple listings you will need to complete a form for each type of listing.
- Make sure you read the descriptions around each accessible feature on the form before deciding whether it applies to your business.
- Please be as accurate and truthful as you can when assessing your accessible facilities - the aim is to showcase the facilities you have to offer rather than highlight those that you don't.
- You will be asked to supply your unique listing URL (web page address) for Experience Sussex.
To find your URL, follow these steps:- Search for your listing on experiencesussex.com in the top right search bar
- Click onto your product page
- Copy the website address from the browser - this URL is unique to your product. (See URL highlighted yellow in example below).
- Paste the URL onto the form where required
- Click the 'next' button on the bottom left of each page to progress through the form
Please click on the relevant button below for your product listing

Visit England have been working with Access and Inclusion UK and AccessAble to update the way that Key Accessibility information is presented to visitors through our destination websites and platforms. Research conducted by AccessAble has shown that 95% of disabled visitors will check access requirements before visiting, so it is important to ensure our website and the listings have accurate, relevant and detailed information.
