Accessibility Statement
This Accessibility Statement provides an overview of the accessibility features we have implemented on this website.
Accessibility on experiencesussex.com
Experience Sussex is working to ensure that its website is accessible to all. We have created a website that is accessible to all people with disabilities.
For example, that means you should be able to:
- Inspect the page structure, highlighting links, headings and landmarks.
- Increase the size of the cursor
- change colours, contrast levels, spacing and fonts
- zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made our page text as simple as possible to understand.
This website makes available the Audio Eye Accessibility Toolkit Bar, which is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows experiencesussex.com to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2).
The AudioEye Toolbar provides tools that benefit all site visitors with diverse abilities.
Using the Accessibility Toolbar
- Please click on the blue person icon at the bottom of the screen, or use the keyboard shortcut SHIFT key + the “equals” key to open the toolbar.
- You can use the tools in the Visual Toolkit individually, or in combination.
- If you'd like to learn more about AudioEye's services, visit audioeye.com.
Visual Presentation
This site uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) so that you may customise the presentation to suit your preferences.
All the information can be viewed without styles (also known as CSS or Cascading Style Sheets). How you remove or disable the styles will depend on the browser you are using. Refer to a user guide for how to disable CSS using an add on. The screen text size is relative, allowing you to adjust the size of the text in your browser.
All pages contain a Site Map in the footer.
