From the silver screen to the small screen, Sussex has provided the perfect backdrop for film and TV productions past and present. And our star performer? It has to be the chalky cliffs at Seven Sisters Country Park.
The cliffs have featured in several films and series, including ‘Atonement’, ‘Anatomy of a Scandal’, ‘Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves’ and ‘Wicked’. Harry Potter fan? You can see the cliffs during the Quidditch world cup in ‘The Goblet of Fire’.
This is also where the car drives into the air in the 1960s’ film 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'. And Ben Affleck can be seen crashing a spitfire along the Seven Sisters coastline in the blockbuster ‘Pearl Harbour’.
