Now in its second year at Chichester Cathedral, Luxmuralis returns with 'Illuminating Art', a breathtaking immersive sound and light installation that transforms the historic cathedral into an extraordinary work of art. Taking place on between 23 and 31 October this year, this unique event offers a captivating journey through history, creativity and culture. The internationally acclaimed artistic collaboration Luxmuralis will illuminate every corner of the building, from the ancient Nave to the South Transept.
Previous audiences have praised Illuminating Art as "truly stunning", "very moving" and "simply beautiful", while visitors to last year's Chichester Cathedral Light Experience described the event as "absolutely magical", "the best thing I've seen in ages" and "a wonderful way to experience the Cathedral". As one of Chichester Cathedral's principal fundraising events, the Chichester Cathedral Light Experience raises vital funds to support the care, conservation and ongoing life of the Cathedral.

5. Prizes
One winner will receive two tickets to Luxmuralis at Chichester Cathedral, a £100 gift voucher to use at The Ivy in Chichester to be used on one occasion between 23 and 31 October 2026. You will need to confirm your visit date/time in advance to ensure availability at both venues.

Luxmuralis, Chichester Cathedral: 2 x tickets to Luxmuralis at Chichester Cathedral at T&Cs: The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
The Ivy, Chichester: A £100 voucher for The Ivy in Chichester. T&Cs: The voucher is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
Prize will be assigned at random to winner and are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
If you cannot make the available dates no alternative prize or compensation will be offered.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
Winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
Winner will be notified via email on Tuesday 13thth October 2026.
If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

Personal data (name and email address) will be collected solely for the purpose of administering the prize draw, including contacting the winner.
Marketing communications from Experience Sussex and/or Chichester Cathedral will only be sent where entrants have explicitly opted in via separate tick boxes on the entry form. Entry into the prize draw is not conditional on consenting to marketing.
