Sussex continues to shine as a Michelin Star destination, with the 2026 Michelin Guide recognising five restaurants across Sussex and Brighton & Hove. This year’s Michelin stars highlight the regions culinary creativity, exceptional local produce and celebrates a growing focus on sustainable, seasonal dishes.
A new entry in the Michelin Green Star category for 2026 sees Knepp Wilding Kitchen on the Knepp Estate earning a place in the Michelin Guide, with estate-reared and low impact produce taking centre stage as part of their regenerative ethos.
Three out of five awards have been given to restaurants in the Horsham area, which is just 1 hour from London by train. This area of Sussex is becoming a foodie destination, as well as it's vineyards producing award-winning wines.
