The Summer Festival at Kinsbrook Vineyard

A new event for 2025 at Kinsbrook Vineyard, The Summer Festival on 21 June brings all the midsummer promise of a joyful English solstice evening – bubbling with activities, live music, food, and of course excellent wine.

An event encompassing Kinsbrook’s inclusive and family-friendly ethos, all are welcome at The Summer Festival with tickets costing £25 per person (for 18+), £10 (for 6–17-year-olds), and children under 5 and dogs are free.

Winemaker Tours at Stopham Vineyard

Stop by Stopham Vineyard on English Wine Week Saturdays to follow the winemaking process for wines that have graced prestigious occasions such as the Queen’s party on the Royal Barge for her Diamond Jubilee.

From nurturing the vineyard’s Sussex soil to its state-of-the-art winery housed in a converted Grade II listed Victorian barn, tours at Stopham Vineyard give a fascinating insight into the wine-making process of an outstanding South Downs vineyard.

After the thirsty work of a full tour, visitors are invited to taste the wines and can enjoy an optional two-course pub lunch at The White Hart on the River Arun at Stopham Bridge.

Can’t make it during English Wine Week? Stopham hosts vineyard and winery tours on the majority of Saturdays until the end of September.

English Wine Week Escape at Rathfinny Wine Estate

The ultimate English Wine Week getaway, this specially curated English Wine Week Escape at Rathfinny Wine Estate in Alfriston has an irresistible itinerary for wine and food fans.

Including an overnight stay in Rathfinny’s countryside-chic Flint Barns and al fresco dining courtesy of event partners Big Green Egg, the overnight escape includes a guided e-bike ride, a tour and wine tasting, a three-course courtyard dinner, and an outdoor brunch.

An English Wine Week edition of Nutbourne Vineyard’s popular ‘pop up in the vines’ events, the Solstice Farm Feasts will offer a magical and memorable opportunity to dine among the vines of this West Sussex vineyard.

A Nutty sparkling reception will be followed by a four-course seasonal feast by the Gladwin family’s Local & Wild restaurants, paired with a special selection of wines from the Nutbourne estate.

Sip back and relax in the ambient setting of the Wine Lodge, Raj Tent, or outdoors among the vines (weather permitting). There’s also a private dining option in the historic Windmill for groups of 10–12

Hosted at The View – the aptly named new venue at the top of Roebuck Estates vineyard with showstopping views of the South Downs – Jazz in the Vines will celebrate the start of English Wine Week with a vine and dandy day of music and wine.

Filling the summer solstice Saturday afternoon with the sweet sound of live jazz, accompanied by the gentle popping of corks from Roebuck’s award-winning vintage sparkling wine, it will be a grape way to raise a glass to the longest day of the year.

Fish & Chips & Cuvée Night at Wiston Estate

Tasting in the Vines at Bolney Wine Estate

Sparkling Wine High Tea at Albourne Estate

Partake in the English tradition of high tea on the Tasting Room balcony at the Albourne Estate on the opening weekend of English Wine Week, and your coronation chicken sandwiches and freshly baked scones will be accompanied by two glasses of the Estate’s sparkling rose.

There are more savoury delights later in the week with a Sushi & Sparkling Wine Evening on 26 June, or for those who prefer to work up an appetite, Cannonball E-bikes’ wine-tasting tours cycle through the South Downs National Park to visit Albourne Estate on the weekends.

Visit the vines and learn about the story of Tinwood Estate, which was established as a vineyard in 2007 and has since become a renowned boutique vineyard. Then retire to the Tasting Room for an afternoon tea accompanied with three glasses of Tinwood sparkling wines to leave you feeling like you’re on cloud wine.

Tours & Tasting at Sedlescombe Organic

We invite you down to our little slice of heaven in the East Sussex countryside, for a 90 minute wine tour and tasting Fridays– Sundays every week. We begin the tour with a glass of wine in hand and strolling to our award winning vineyards to show you a year in the life of the vine. Whilst among the vines we'll be enjoying a couple of still wines and teaching you the tricks of the trade - how to get the most from your glass with specific tasting techniques.

We then head on to our Cellar Door where we will tell you all about our unique organic & biodynamic winemaking techniques, and sustainable vineyard management. We'll then taste some of our top English Sparkling and red wine.
