The Summer Festival at Kinsbrook returns this year for an extended two day celebration of summer with wine, music, food and good times. Expect music, dancing, archery, good wine and so much more!

An event encompassing Kinsbrook’s inclusive and family-friendly ethos, all are welcome at The Summer Festival with tickets costing from £30.50 per person (for 18+), £14.25 (for 6–17-year-olds), and children under 5 and dogs are free.

Winemaker Tours at Stopham Vineyard

Book a tour and tasting at Stopham Vineyard during English Wine Week to follow the winemaking process for wines that have graced prestigious occasions such as the Queen’s party on the Royal Barge for her Diamond Jubilee.

From nurturing the vineyard’s Sussex soil to its state-of-the-art winery housed in a converted Grade II listed Victorian barn, tours at Stopham Vineyard give a fascinating insight into the wine-making process of an outstanding South Downs vineyard.

After the thirsty work of a full tour, visitors are invited to taste the wines and can enjoy an optional two-course pub lunch at The White Hart on the River Arun at Stopham Bridge.

Can’t make it during English Wine Week? Stopham hosts vineyard and winery tours on the majority of Saturdays until the end of September.

The ultimate Sussex experience in English Wine Week, pair a selection of Rathfinny Sussex Sparkling wines and still varieties with locally sourced seafood. Rathfinny is one of the closest UK vineyards to the sea, just three miles from the English channel. 

Over lunch, guests will learn about the history of Rathfinny in the Tasting Rooms, which offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Enjoy freshly prepared Fish & Chips as you find out how well their wines pair with the famous local dish. 

Rathfinny’s will also be celebrating English Wine Week with a series of other special events including Wine in the Vines on 28 June, and Vineyard Picnics every Sunday throughout the summer.

An English Wine Week edition of Nutbourne Vineyard’s popular ‘pop up in the vines’ events, the Solstice Farm Feasts will offer a magical and memorable opportunity to dine among the vines of this West Sussex vineyard.

A Nutty sparkling reception will be followed by a four-course seasonal feast by the Gladwin family’s Local & Wild restaurants, paired with a special selection of wines from the Nutbourne estate.

Sip back and relax in the ambient setting of the Wine Lodge, Raj Tent, or outdoors among the vines (weather permitting). There’s also a private dining option in the historic Windmill for groups of 10–12

A midweek treat of the sweetest kind, afternoon tea and tastings are held at the Tinwood Estate near Goodwood every Wednesday, with the English Wine Week occasion falling on 24 June.

Visit the vines and learn about the story of Tinwood Estate, which was established as a vineyard in 2007 and has since become a renowned boutique vineyard. Then retire to the Tasting Room for an afternoon tea accompanied with three glasses of Tinwood sparkling wines to leave you feeling like you’re on cloud wine.
