Charles Palmer, Winchelsea
Guests settling into one of the wings of the Wickham Manor may find it difficult to leave this incredibly picturesque 16th-century house, especially while sipping a glass of the Charles Palmer Vineyards’ wine in the garden with sea views.
If you can tear yourself away, the ancient wine trading port town of Winchelsea is a 20-minute walk via the 1066 footpath, which runs directly through the farm. Wickham Manor is so connected to Winchelsea’s history that its network of old cellars runs beneath the town.

Oastbrook Estate, Robertsbridge
Heralding a celebration of wine and good times, Oastbrook Estate Vineyard is all about delivering a fun experience for its guests, and this is reflected in its quirky accommodation.
Hunker down in the two-bedroom Vineyard Hollow, a cosy burrow-like hideaway nestled in a bank, stay at the Scandi-style Avalon Waterside Lodge, or sleep under the stars in one of the five luxury bell tents.

Oxney Organic has put the same care and attention to detail into its accommodation as its outstanding organic wine, resulting in some excellent lodgings for guests.
On the vineyard, there are two shepherd’s huts and Vineyard House – a gorgeous farmhouse cottage with five bedrooms. A short drive away, The Oxney Barns sleep up to 14 in three converted barns.

Wiston Estate, Pulborough
Hidden away in its own pretty pocket of the South Downs countryside, The Pump House is a charming cottage on the Wiston Estate which sleeps up to four.
Guests can enjoy the landscape, which has been farmed by the Goring family for over 275 years, and its vineyard, which was planted in 2006. There are also e-bikes available to hire to explore the area.
